I step outside and find the cold biting. 

As the chill strikes me, my thoughts immediately turn to my investment accounts. 

Why? 

Well, let me tell you.  

I have two retirement accounts; one serious, another that serves a bit for play. 

The former is my government-backed retirement plan.  The latter: some large-cap, dividend-yielding stock investments.  

So, about the cold.  

The money I store away now is the key to unlocking my return during retirement to another cold place. 

Namely, home.
